During his studies, he interned at Eternis Fine Chemicals Ltd. in Mumbai, working on optimization of industrial methods of aroma chemical synthesis using high-pressure high-temperature facilities with GC/GCxMS reaction monitoring. He gained further experience in conducting research under Prof. Krishna P. Kaliappan at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB), undertaking total organic synthesis of quinazolinones bearing aryl functionality and exploring intramolecular heterocycle formation in the same class of molecules.
