During her undergraduate studies, she interned at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she focused on organic production. She also interned at Eli Lilly, contributing to small molecule discovery for oncology. Her undergraduate research was conducted in the Paton Group at CSU, where she specialized in computational organic chemistry, with an emphasis on machine learning and mechanistic analysis.
