During this time, she carried out research in the Maguire group, focusing on optimising the enantioselectivity of the intramolecular aromatic addition of alpha-diazo-beta-ketonitriles. She also gained experience working in the Research and Development laboratory while on work placement in Thermo Fischer Scientific. She joined the Lloyd-Jones group in September 2022. In her free time, Roisin can be found spending time in the outdoors and loves running, playing hockey and sea swimming! She also enjoys going out for food with family and friends.
