This research has focused on the challenge of generating robust self-assembled coordination cages that are bio-compatible. We have principally been applying these delivery systems in nuclear medicine – using non-covalent encapsulation as a rapid and universal new tool for radio-labelling. Our research in this area is carried out in collaboration with the radiochemistry group of Steve Archibald (University of Hull).
We have been developing supramolecular systems for use as in vivo carriers of diagnostics and therapeutics.
