Research Facilities

The Coxon Lab is based in the School of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, with access to a wide range of state‑of‑the‑art research facilities supporting both experimental and computational work.

Key capabilities include:

  • Automated and manual solid‑phase peptide synthesis
  • Analytical and preparative HPLC
  • Mass spectrometry for peptide and small‑molecule analysis
  • Biophysical characterisation (e.g. fluorescence‑based assays, CD)
  • Access to high‑performance computing for molecular modelling and simulation

We also benefit from shared facilities across the School of Chemistry and the wider University, enabling collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
