The School of Chemistry is a globally connected community, enriched by incoming students from all around the world, generating a vibrant international community. Our undergraduate students encompass more than 30 nationalities and about 20% of our Postgraduate students are from overseas, with a wealth of students from Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Australia and Asia. International students often obtain support through a Tercentenary Scholarship, Edinburgh Global Scholarship, or by our involvement in global research projects and partnerships such as Universitas 21. We celebrate our international flavour with annual events such as "Chemical Cultures", and we provide support including English language training to help UK and international students integrate and learn from each other.
