Criticat: Critical Resource Catalysis Studentships The CRITICAT CDT, hosted by St Andrews, Heriot-Watt and Edinburgh Universities in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, will provide PhD training across homo-, hetero- and biocatalysis as well as reaction engineering. NERC E4 Studentships The NERC E4 (Edinburgh Earth, Ecology & Environment) DTP seeks to attract and enable the brightest PhD students to address environmental challenges, providing flexible training in a multidisciplinary setting. SOFI Studentships The SOFI CDT combines expertise from three universities, industry and central facilities to deliver a comprehensive training programme and a wide choice of research projects from across the full range of science. SOFI is currently accepting studentship applications through their website. EastBIO Studentships EASTBIO is the East of Scotland BioScience Doctoral Training Partnership. We are funded by the BBSRC and supported in our work by the Scottish Universities Life Sciences Alliance. We offer an excellent programme of collaborative training for PhD students in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and St Andrews, four of the UK's leading research intensive universities. We also host summer research experience placements for undergraduates. There are currently no studentships available for the EastBIO Centre for Doctoral Training.
