Innovation Meets Recognition - Ayushi Arora featured in ‘SHE IS - Women in Chemistry’

Ayushi Arora, a PhD student from the Robertson Group has been featured in the prestigious "SHE IS – Women in Chemistry" book, launched in collaboration with the Government of India, the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK), and the Red Dot Foundation.

As the youngest member featured, she is recognized for her journey in chemistry, navigating both successes and setbacks with resilience and determination.  

In the feature, Ayushi shares her journey in chemistry and how it led her to pursue water research. Driven by the belief that clean water is a fundamental human right, she is determined to develop sustainable water treatment solutions. Her innovations have been tested under diverse environmental conditions, contributing to a deeper understanding of how her research can drive meaningful progress in environmental remediation.

Reflecting on her journey, Ayushi expresses immense gratitude for the guidance and mentorship of her supervisor, Prof Neil Robertson, whose support has been instrumental in her achievements.

I am incredibly fortunate to have had Neil’s mentorship throughout this journey,” she shares. “His guidance has shaped my research and has been a constant source of inspiration, helping me grow both as a scientist and as a person.
