Four grants awarded after formation of new panel The School of Chemistry is pleased to report that since September 2016, when EPSRC have used a combined Physical Science prioritisation panel amalgamating Chemistry, Physics and Materials, four proposals from the School of Chemistry have been funded. The successful researchers were Prof. Paul Attfield, Dr Michael Shaver and Prof. Guy Lloyd-Jones, Dr Paul Lusby and Prof. Euan Brechin and Dr Julien Michel. This represent around 10% of all standard responsive mode grants awarded by four combined panels and means that the School of Chemistry has been the single most successful School/Department in the UK in terms of the number of responsive mode grants awarded to date.
