Talk given at synthesis and catalysis meeting Jamie Docherty, from Dr Stephen Thomas's group, has just returned from the ISySyCat 2017 meeting in Evora, Portugal, with the Flash Talk Award, sponsored by Chemistry Select. The meeting took place between the 5-8 of September. It focused on key topics in contemporary organic and organometallic synthesis and catalysis, of relevance to both academic and industrial chemists alike.
