New grant totals over £700,000 The School of Chemistry has been awarded a £722,150 grant by the BBSRC under the 17ALERT equipment call. The application is entitled “Underpinning UK Biomolecular Research with Next-Generation High Resolution Mass Spectrometry at the University of Edinburgh”. The team is comprised of Prof. Dominic Campopiano, Dr David Clarke, Dr Logan Mackay, Prof. Paul Barlow, Prof. Dusan Uhrin from the School of Chemistry and Prof. Ruth Andrew from the Edinburgh Medical School. This upgraded equipment will maintain the School's Mass Spectrometry facilities as one of the leading centres of excellence within Europe. It also allows us to expand our links with industrial and academic partners. Publication date 22 May, 2018
