Science Festival visitors voted for best images Following last year’s success, the School of Chemistry organised an image competition as part of their drop-in activities “Space Lab” at the Edinburgh International Science Festival in April (EISF2018). Members of the staff and postgraduate students who kindly volunteered to share the delightful moments of their research had their images displayed in the course of 5 days on the theme of "Life in Outer Space". These images were taken by a variety of techniques including CCD /CMOS camera, thermal imaging camera and electron microscopy. The winners of the competition were selected by the visitors at the festival. Congratulations to the winners, who in addition to the fame and glory, also received awards on behalf of the Public Engagement Team for their important contribution to broadcasting the School's research outside the academic world.
