Entreprenurial award for team who developed a new medical coating Congratulations to the Invisius team (Dr Andy Herbert, Mr Richard Boyd, Dr Sunay Chankeshwara and Dr Elisavet Makou) on the award of the Innovation Cup at the 2017 Inspire Launch Grow Awards on 5th June. The Inspire Launch Grow event showcases the exceptional entrepreneurial talent from students and academic staff at the University of Edinburgh. The Innovation Cup category is for a research or technology-based business idea with high growth potential and the winning team won ??5,000. Invisius has developed a next generation of medical coating with the potential to protect invasive medical devices, or organs for transplantation from damage by the immune system.
