New funding of over £1.3 million secured for two projects Dr Adam Kirrander and Professor Martin Paterson at Heriot-Watt University have been awarded funding to develop better methods to simulate the motion of nuclei and electrons in photoexcited systems. The EPSRC project is directed towards new ultrafast experiments in collaboration with experimentalists Professor David Townsend at Heriot-Watt University and Professor Peter Weber at Brown University. The Leverhulme project is directed at fundamental theoretical advances. Publication date 02 Feb, 2021
