Three Prizes in One Day!

Hat-trick of RSC awards for Edinburgh chemists

Three researchers from the School of Chemistry have been awarded prizes by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

  • Dr Nicholle Bell has been awarded the RSC Joseph Black Award. This is awarded to an early career scientist in any field covering the practice and teaching of analytical science.
  • Dr Andy Lawrence has been awarded the RSC Hickinbottom Award. This is awarded for contributions to any area of organic chemistry from a researcher under the age of 35.
  • Prof. Neil McKeown has been awarded the RSC Tilden Prize. This is awarded for advances in chemistry.
