Success for two research groups in the run-up to Christmas Well done to Jianzhu “Cora” Wang (a PhD student in the Lusby group) who received a prize for her poster titled “Promoting Endo/Exo Diels-Alder Selectivity using a Simple Pd2L4 Catalyst” at the annual RSC Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry meeting held at Lancaster University on on Tuesday 18th Dec. Congratulations also to Harvey Dale (a PhD student in the Lloyd-Jones group) who won the best poster presentation prize at the RSC Scottish Organic Chemistry Meeting held at Strathclyde University on 17th Dec 2018 for his poster “Taming Ambident Triazole Nucleophiles: Regiospecific Ion-Pairing and Phase Transfer Organocatalysis”.
