Poster Prize for Postgraduate Student

Prize awarded at virtual conference

Congratulations to Daniel Cutler, from the Brechin group, for winning best poster at the virtual CEMWOQ-6.5 conference held May 30th-June 1st. Dan won for his poster entitled "Towards polyoxometalates with Fe(III)? A family of molecular metal oxides."

The Crystal Engineering and Emerging Materials Workshop of Ontario and Quebec is an event that brings together academic, and industrial researchers (students, faculty and staff) working on the design, synthesis, characterization and application of materials, with a focus on solid state chemistry and crystal engineering. While CEMWOQ is usually local to Ontario and Quebec the virtual conference CEMWOQ-6.5 was held over Zoom and was a true international event with nearly 300 participants from 5 continents. The prize was sponsored by CrystEngComm.
